If the field that I find is fairly flat and just needs smoothed over (which is what I am hoping I can find) I think plowing it under and disking it to smooth it over should be all that is required. Since at the present time I don't have the required motive power and equipment and would want to get it done as inexpensively as possie I thought about contacting a local tractor club to hold a plow day to plow everything under and start from scratch. With a good many tractors and plows it shouldn't take too long at all. If the field is plowed in a few times it should put a nice crown in the runway to help the water drain off.
In the future we will have to see if this idea will work.
